主要从事多环杂环醌的合成和抗癌活性研究，同时采用量子化学计算多环杂环醌的分子结构，主要关注多环杂环醌中反常键长的发现和解释。目前以第一作者及通讯作者在Euro. J. Med. Chem.和J.Mol .Struc.等刊物上发表SCI论文10余篇。主持福建省自然科学基金1项。
